LAUGHLIN. — The band widely known for upending American culture in the late 60s will bring their legendary sound to the open-air Laughlin Event Center on Saturday, April 16 at 8 p.m.
While the band initially focused on the psychedelic blues sound, they explored with a brand of pop and classic rock that fans found fresh and irresistible. This sound dominated radio and led the group to hit after hit, including “Take the Money and Run,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Rock’n Me” and many others.
As a staple on radio stations across the country to this day, the band was awarded with a Golden Note from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers as well as a star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their impressive career has spanned 18 studio albums, six live albums, seven compilation albums and close to 30 singles.
